How it works

Our editorial process.

Evidence threshold
3+ independent verified reports per flag type, or 1 official source (health authority, news record)
Language standard
All notices use attributive language — "visitor reports describe" not "this venue is." We surface signal, not verdict.
Venue notification
Venues are notified before a notice is published and given 7 days to submit counter-evidence.
Appeal window
30 days from publication. Email [email protected] with evidence. We review and respond within 14 days.
Expiry
Notices expire automatically at 24 months. Renewed only if fresh evidence is submitted or patterns persist.
Records
Source evidence (screenshots, links, report IDs) is retained internally for the duration of the notice plus 12 months.
