Busan is Korea's second city and arguably its best bathing one: a genuine hot-spring district at Dongnae with centuries of history, seawater bathhouses along the beaches, and jjimjilbang culture at full scale, including some of the largest spa complexes in the country. The full Busan catalogue is in the iOS app.
"Busan bathes with the sea in view and the spring under the floor. Seoul gets neither."
Dongnae's hot springs were drawing bathers when Busan was still a fishing harbour, and the district keeps its bathhouses and spring-fed public baths to this day. The modern city layered on the jjimjilbang at Busan scale (Spa Land in Centum City is the famous cathedral of the form) and a coastal speciality: bathhouses drawing heated seawater along Haeundae and the eastern beaches. It adds up to the widest bathing menu in Korea.
The Busan venues in the iOS app catalogue the Dongnae spring baths, the jjimjilbang, and the seawater houses. Venue pages note the wet-zone and common-zone structure for first-time jjimjilbang visitors.
Each card links to a full venue page with hours, access notes, type, and editorial context. Cards are ordered alphabetically.
